Yahoo! News - U.S. Marines Rally Round Iraq Probe Comrade: "U.S. Marines Rally Round Iraq Probe Comrade"
Without going into too much ranting and raving, I'd like to point out one very irritating thing about the media.
Why does the media refer to the enemy as insurgents when they are nameless and faceless, but when the enemy has been wounded and is considered "harmless" they become Iraqis again?
In this example, the enemy was wounded. Rose to fight again, was wounded again, and finally shot and killed by a pissed off Marine (who is now under investigation). Instead of calling the insurgent a terrorist, they now make him human again and associate him with the Iraqi people.
Anyone see something very wrong?
